Done and Done

It's official. As of this afternoon, my second Henry Parker novel is now with my editor and agent. Tentatively titled THE REGULATOR, it clocks in at about 93,000 words and is scheduled to hit stores in January 2008.

I'm sure by the end of the process I'll have done at least two or three more drafts. I'm very happy with how the book came out and I'm excited to see what's in store for my characters in the third book.

Now I need a nap.

Congrats, go take your nap while Dave continues to bust his hump on his book.

Also, because I'm a detail nerd: is that word count your computer word count or estimated? And how many pages did it turn out to be?

Bryon, that's the word count on MS word. Ended up being about 360 manuscript pages, but that varies depending on font, etc...

Add my congratulations on finishing your second novel. You notice each one gets tougher? I think it's because one demands more of oneself. In any case, good job!
