The UK publishing schedule often differs from the US. Unless a book is actually available in a given country, its readers likely won't be aware of it. They have to market it there and build up awareness, the same way we do in the US.
I didn't know it wasn't out yet over here. I bought it last month at Muder One bookstore in London, where they were not only selling it, but had it on the display table as soon as you walked downstairs to the PB department.
It must be the American version, though I did not pay much attention since it was published by Mira.
Anyhow, loved the book. I'll try and catch you if you do make it over for any publicity, but try not to be too disappointed if I don't shell out for another copy.
Thanks Dave, I appreciate the note and the info. I have no idea how/why the American version ended up there, but I'm glad you were able to get one (don't worry, I don't expect you to fork over dough twice). I'll be curious to see how it's stocked in the UK, I haven't been over there in about 10 years.

The book trailer was so good, I think I'll read The Mark again this weekend.
how come the UK has to wait so long to get your book? Couldn't they just order it from the US?

Congratulations!!! Is it in trade? It looked like it from the trailer, but it's hard to tell.
Thanks Allison! I believe it will be in trade (it just came out in Australia in trade). I'm hoping to go over there in May to do some publicity.
